TRUE OR FALSE

According to the apostle Paul there are six steps for salvation.

  1. Confess Christ with your mouth

  2. Believe in your heart

  3. Turn away from sin

  4. Receive salvation that God offers

  1. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling

  1. Obey Christ’s commandments

Every step is about Jesus Christ. Has he never heard about Yahweh? Has he never heard about the Father of Jesus? Isn't it amazing what the serpent can do to us? The serpent is determined to deceive us all, and not only Adam and Eve.

Let us now see what Jesus Christ says.

"Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 Readers, the words God the Father, Jesus’ Father and Yahweh are not mentioned at all in Paul’s six steps for salvation. Isn’t that amazing?

Jesus’ commandments are not exactly the same as the ten commandments that Jesus’ Father had given to the Prophet Moses. Christ’s commandments are not as detailed as the commandments of God the Father.

Jesus said, “For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a Commandment — what to say and what to speak.” John 12:49. What does it mean? Believing only in what Christ says is not sufficient for our salvation. We have to believe also in what Jesus’ Father says. That means that we must also do the will of Jesus’ Father.

Doing the will of Christ only is not an option. We must do the will of both, the will of Jesus, and the will of Jesus’ Father.

And here is the proof from the Bible.

"Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'” And here’s what Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.Matthew 7:21. We must do the will of Jesus and the will of Jesus’ Father if we want to go to heaven. There’s no shortcut.

Jesus said, “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John 17:3.

Personally, I believe that belief in Jesus Christ is not mandatory for our salvation. Why did I say that? Because the Prophet Enoch, Moses, Daniel, Isaiah, and others were all saved before Jesus was born.

Jesus came as a human being, just like you and me. The main difference is that He came to do the will of His Father, and we came to do our selfish will, and not the will of Jesus’ Father.

Paul and his people outlined the six steps for salvation on the Internet, Jesus mentioned only one, do the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7:21

Do we know what the will of Jesus’ Father is? "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Matthew 7:22-23.
