WHO IS THE JUDGE?
Readers, do you know who the Judge is who will judge us when Jesus returns? Some people hope that it will be Jesus. But I believe that it will be Jesus’ Father and not Jesus. Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Jesus’ Father will be the Judge, and the Law that He will use to judge us is similar to the Law that God used on Adam and Eve and the serpent. God is fair and just. Unless we repent, unless we stop doing what He prohibits us from doing that is written in His Ten Commandments and in the rest of the Bible, He will not hesitate to give us what we deserve, eternal life or eternal death, and suffering before eternal death. God has zero tolerance toward sin, none!
That is His nature. He is patient. But I don't know how patient He is. My older brother eloped with the teenage daughter of his wife. Everybody objected to what he did, including the father of the girl. But my brother did not care. My mother bought three airline tickets for them to come to the USA from Indonesia. Three days before the plane was scheduled to leave Jakarta, my brother died. Nobody knows why he died. He wasted his time to repent. Now he’s buried. No more chance to repent. Readers, do not bet on God’s patience.
We don’t know how patient Jesus’ Father is. Just look at Adam and Eve. They got evicted from their home on the same day that they disobeyed God. No mercy. And Christians everywhere were scrambling for a theory and said that Jesus died to pay for our sin. Why would Jesus suffer and die to pay for our sin? Why bro, why?
He died because the soldiers crucified Him on the cross. What did Jesus say? “Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.” Luke 23:34. Jesus forgives the sins of the soldiers who crucified Him on the cross. Why? Because they do not know what they do. Would Jesus die for us who committed adultery and other sins that the Bible prohibits us from doing? Don’t kid ourselves. It’s not funny. The only way we can make things right again with Jesus’ Father is when we REPENT. When we repent, God will forgive our sins.
God said, "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18.
My brother who is buried in his grave can no longer repent. Readers, now is the time to repent. We don't know what will happen to us tomorrow, dead or alive? Do not waste this once in a lifetime opportunity. Repent while we still can.
