JESUS LOVE YOU
Readers, I want to ask all of my readers a question. Why am I always seeing or hearing “Jesus love you” and not “Jesus’ Father love you” on the internet and in many religious meetings, why? Is that not very strange? John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” The disciple John says that whoever believes in Jesus will have an everlasting life. But what did Jesus say? Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21. John said whoever believes in Jesus will have eternal life, but Jesus said whoever does the will of Jesus’ Father in heaven will go to heaven. And so, if we want to go to heaven and live eternally with God we must believe in God and do what He wants us to do. We must believe in what God says, and we must do what God wants us to do.
Adam and Eve lost eternal life because they did not believe what God says, and they did not do what God wanted them to do. They have faith only in or believe what the serpent says, and they do only what the serpent wants them to do. Doesn't that sound familiar? Look at this.
The “apostle” Paul says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Is this a smart idea?
What do you think? The apostle James said, “What [does it] profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?” James 2:14.
Screaming "Jesus love you” day and night can save no one. What can save us? Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21.
Do the will of Jesus' Father is important. Where can we find the will of Jesus’ Father? In His commandments. Do we know what His commandments are? Do we know where we can find His commandments? Do we do all what He wants us to do in His commandments?
Finally, remember this. The apostle James said, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one [point], he is guilty of all.” James 2:10.
Don’t forget, heaven is not cheap! Jesus said, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13. Let us pray for each other, brothers and sisters, and help each other to stay faithful to the end. God blesses us all!
