JESUS SAID

"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.“ Matthew 5:17-18. Readers, do you know why Jesus said these words? He wants us, His listeners, to believe not only in what He said but also to obey everything else that may be implied in what He said.
And here comes Paul of Tarsus and he changes the law before all is fulfilled. Paul doesn’t understand what all is fulfilled means in reference to the law. He knows nothing about the law, God's law.
The Ten Commandments are not the only law that God gave us. If they are, they have not been fulfilled yet. Millions of Christians are still not following the Ten Commandments. The prophecies of God’s prophets have not all occurred yet. All what the law says has not been fulfilled yet. But Satan is not patient to wait until the law is fulfilled.  So Satan sends false prophets to the world to deceive you and me so we will follow Satan. That is the only plan of Satan to deceive us. Jesus came to the world to teach us about the law in terms that we humans can understand. And Saul of Tarsus did a very good job at that. He taught us that we don’t have to follow the law, just faith and no work. And everybody is jumping up and down. Wait! God wants us to obey His law. He gave us our whole life to practice obedience to His law. Why? So we have the habit of obeying His law. So obeying His law becomes our second nature. Adam and Eve were not accustomed to obeying God’s law. And we  know what happened to them. If we are not accustomed yet to obeying God’s law He will not take us. You know why? Because if He takes us to heaven He must get accustomed to living with us disobedient citizens.
It’s not funny. Do you think Jesus’ Father will do that?
How about if you have never obeyed Him? Do you think God will live with you in heaven if you have never obeyed Him? That’s why Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.“ John 14:15,21,23,24. They will live with us if we keep their commandments, and make Their home with us.
God knows if we have or have not acquired the habit of keeping His commandments.  God knows if we are or are not accustomed yet  to following His orders. Jesus knows if we love Him or not. He knows us in and out. Keep trying and do our best in obeying Him, and do not listen to Satan and his false prophets. Do not give up. We are almost there. God bless us all.
