ONE COMMANDMENT

“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, `You shall not eat of every tree of the garden' ?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; "but of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God has said, `You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make [one] wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” Genesis 3:1-6.
Readers. How many commandments did God give to Adam and Eve? One, not more than one. Did they keep it? No. Why?
Because Satan doesn’t want Adam and Eve, and us, to keep ANY of God’s commandments. Ask your newborn pastor, preacher, or priest if they should observe God’s TEN COMMANDMENTS, and he/she will tell you that according to Paul, aka Saul of Tarsus, keeping God’s commandments cannot save anyone.
Here’s what Saul said, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,” Ephesians 2:8-9. He talked just like the serpent.
Here is another set of His arguments for ignoring the Ten Commandments that don’t make sense at all.
“Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to [her] husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of [her] husband. So then if, while [her] husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not [in] the oldness of the letter. “ Romans 7:1-6.
My goodness, no Paul, no! The Ten Commandments were given to us by Jesus’ Father, YAHWEH, not by Jesus. Jesus may die five times but His death on the cross can never, and will never release us of our obligations to YAHWEH! We are still bound to His law.
That’s why Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Mathew 7:21.
